Building Information Modeling, or BIM, has been highly celebrated as a tool and process that can do wonders for the architectural, engineering, construction, and operations industries. So what is BIM and what can (and can't) it do? This presentation will define BIM in clear terms and address the real, tangible value it can provide A/E/C practices and clients today—and how BIM can help you market and differentiate your firm.

About the Speaker

 

David C. Fouché, RA, LEED BD+C, Senior Technologist, CH2M HILL - Government Facilities & Infrastructure

David Fouché is a registered architect who has spent the last 20 years specializing in 3D intelligent modeling, starting with Datacad and then working through various applications including Silver Screen, AutoCAD, MicroStation, SketchUp, Bentley Architecture, and Revit. Since arriving at CH2M HILL four years ago, David has focused on establishing BIM infrastructure and best practices for the Government Facilities & Infrastructure business group, whose main clients are the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Energy.
