This webinar will present KyotoUSA's Solar Master Plan (SMP) concept for helping schools meet their renewable energy goals. This volunteer-based organization led by Tom Kelly successfully developed SMPs for three East Bay public school districts with technical assistance from the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The webinar will also include contributions and observations from Clyde Murley, an independent solar consultant who helped write Chapter 6 of the SMP, and who will share key lessons learned based on his experiences managing numerous commercial-scale solar PV procurement processes for both schools and colleges.
