Coming off the heels of a record fourth quarter and year in 2011, the U.S. solar industry commenced 2012 with a strong first quarter. The industry grew significantly over the first quarter of 2011. There was considerable demand across each of the three market segments as residential, commercial and utility scale installations all increased in Q1 2012 compared to Q1 2011.

The webinar will highlight emerging trends nationally and in some of the top state markets including demand, system and component cost declines and manufacturing output levels. Much of the discussion will be framed around the preliminary trade case results, the continuing impact of the 1603 Treasury grant program and new state market dynamics.
