CAS Required: Promotional Programs Part 2

This CAS-required course serves as the foundation for learning the fundamentals of the promotional products industry. Learn about the different types of promotional programs and the differences between product selling, idea selling and program selling. This two-part program discusses the elements of each program, how to use each program effectively and how to uncover and qualify opportunities for different types of program sales.
This course is required to attain the CAS designation, but attendees do not need to pursue a CAS to attend this session.
Mary Ellen Nichols, MAS, is a 32-year
industry veteran noted for her fun and interactive educational
sessions, which has earned her PPAIís Lifetime Achievement Award for
Education Excellence, PPAIís Distinguished Service Award and its
Facilitator Excellence Award. Currently the drector of marketing
communications for supplier Bodek and Rhodes, Nichols has presented
hundreds of sessions on the marketing, communications, selling, apparel,
direct mail and more. Most recently she has begun speaking on how to
have a happy life. She is a multiple winner of PPAIís Supplier
Achievement Award and the Golden Pyramid; ASIís Distinguished Women in
Promotional Products; one of ASIís Women to Watch in Promotional
Products in 2011; as well as many other communications awards. Nichols
is a past president of Specialty Advertising C of the Delaware Valley
and PPNA, and a former PPAI vice chair of marketing and member of the
PPAI Board of Directors.
