Global Research Education & Training Webinars

GR8 was founded in 2008 by Jayne Mackta, a vocal and visionary advocate for biomedical research for over 20 years. As founding President of the New Jersey Association for Biomedical Research, she led a proactive coalition of stakeholders from industry, academia, healthcare organizations and patient groups that campaigned vigorously to foster public understanding of the vital role of animals in research. Leveraging the expertise, commitment and compassion of colleagues engaged in every aspect of laboratory animal care and use, she has developed a strategic consortium dedicated to promoting world-class education & training wherever animal research is performed. One of the fundamental drivers of GR8 is the belief that public trust in the process and products of biomedical research can be restored through collaborative initiatives that promote “training people can trust.”
