Forgiveness: Essential to the Healing Process

Forgiveness is a central message in the teaching of Jesus. It has been discovered that people who carry a lot of resentments, hurts and bitterness suffer illnesses. Strained relationships, experiences and events require healing and one of the most effective strategies is to find healing through forgiveness. As spiritual care agents, all are called to find paths for our brothers and sisters to healing and spiritual growth.
