This session covers basic camera operations and helps beginners grow more familiar with camera functions.
Learn: auto focus vs. manual focus and when to use each; macro settings and how they differ from normal lens operation; aperture-priority, shutter-priority and manual modes as well as when to use each; digital resolution and when you need only a few pixels or a lot of them. The rules of composition, documentation for reports, depth of field, optimum distances and flash output will be discussed.

Neil Feldscher is the chief EH&S compliance officer for the Bureau of Engineering Design and Construction of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and has more than 20 years of experience in the environmental, health & safety fields. In addition to being a CIH and CSP, Mr. Feldscher is a licensed attorney who has represented clients in understanding and complying with environmental regulations, litigating and settling environmental claims, and in the analysis of environmental claims or potential claims in business transactions. Mr. Feldscher is the past-chair of the Law Committee of the AIHA and teaches classes for the AIHA, ASSE and other organizations on environmental rules and regulations, providing expert witness testimony, and various legal issues concerning EHS Professionals.
