Robin Newhouse PhD, RN, NEA-BC
Dr. Robin Newhouse is an associate professor and assistant dean for
the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at the University of Maryland
School of Nursing.
She has published, presented, and consulted nationally and
internationally on the topic of evidence-based practice and evidence
translation. Her specific areas of expertise include health services
research methods, health care processes and related outcomes, and
quality of care.
Dr. Newhouse is a member of the American Nurses Credentialing
Center’s (ANCC) Research Council, represents the nursing profession as
an invited member of the Advisory Council in Evidence-Based Behavioral
Practice at Northwestern University and is Chair of the Research and
Scholarship Advisory Council for The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma
Theta Tau International.
The American Nurses Association Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
